It’s Time For Some Hard Truths.
Can we talk? I know you’re shopping; that’s what I wanted to talk about. You’re reading those labels, what are you checking for? Saturated fats? Carbs?
Check the ingredients.
You see, heaps of the food you’re eating is packed with bad stuff – I’m talking about synthetics ingredients.
So do this, take a closer look at that label, are there any ingredients that seem a bit, you know, odd?
Are there numbers in place of real words? Are there long words that sound like they should be in a science textbook?
Yeah, you’re eating synthetics. These are designed to increase profitability for the manufacturer by extending a product’s shelf life beyond what’s natural, increasing flavours artificially and as a result putting things in your body that mess with you chemistry and wellbeing.
It’s the difference between eating fresh from the farm, all natural and the way we were supposed to eat, and eating in a laboratory, surrounded by test tubes and chemicals, masquerading as food.
Stop eating that poison, it’s the reason you feel a strange surge of energy and then unusual tiredness – your body is trying to deal with chemicals that were never supposed to enter it. It’s deciphering what’s a toxin and what’s not, the excess sugar and artificial flavouring is picking you up and then dropping you – hard.
You can’t go on living like this – it’s not natural. Here’s what to do –
- Read Labels. The nutritional label will give you the ingredient list. On first glance as the question, “Do I know what is in this food product?” When in doubt, put it down. Chances are if there is 20 lines of ingredients on the list, you’re eating chemicals. If there is no label, you’re holding real whole food, congrats! You can skip this step. You know what’s in your food….food.
- Ask Questions. If you see a few extra ingredients that you don’t recognize on the label, use google to find out what you’re eating. Educating yourself give you the power to make healthy choices. If shopping at a grocery store, go ask for someone who can help you. If it’s a store with out peeps to help and educate you, put the food down. Do your research and come back. You will not regret it.
- Vote with your purchases. Every purchase is a more than a purchase. It’s a message to the store, merchant, and marketplace that you like a product. Market purchases give you one of the most powerful voices that you have! Vote wisely. Vote for things you really love. Vote for products that are not harmful to you or the planet.
What’s in it for you? Why read labels and choose products that are natural and synthetic free?
The next level of health and fitness… That’s why.
